The Sacramento Asian American Minority, Inc. (SAAMI) is a non-profit organization that delivers multiple services to refugees and immigrants to the residents of Sacramento. The unfortunate closure of a local Hmong organization left a gap for SAAMI to carry on providing the on-going services, and additional diversified services to the County of Sacramento. SAAMI is a resource and a support center for individuals and families to thrive. Sacramento Asian American Minority, Inc.’s mission is to build healthy families through community outreach, public education and direct assistance services.
SAAMI was built on a foundation of dedicated volunteers, Board of Directors, and business owners. Since its establishment in November 2009, SAAMI was able to gather volunteers to service walk-ins clients 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Sacramento Asian American Minority, Inc.’s (SAMMI) mission is to build healthier families through community outreach, public education and direct assistance services. Even with no funds, SAAMI delivers a multitude of services to refugees, immigrants, and first generation American families in the County of Sacramento. Currently, SAAMI provides walk-ins services and additional diversified services in Sacramento. SAAMI is a resource and support center for individuals and families of all ages to thrive.
